Can't help thinking that the change is caused by Bioshock 2 not setting the Take-Two Balance Sheets as alight as was hoped for. It apparently made a healthy profit, but didn't break into the "blockbuster" leagues.

Pity as I really enjoyed it, even if it wasn't as "WOW" as the first game.

Bioshock needs a bit of a shake up, I would like to see arctic bioshock! Set in the 70's. Or similar changes. Not rapture again though, even though it was good fun.

Well that wouldn't be Bioshock really. would it!

Thing is, another return to Rapture is just inviting the law of diminishing returns. But that's game development for you: repeat the formula.

A prequel would be better if nothing else.

i dont think they should bring out another bioshock. unless it does something new and has a really good plot, i think they could ruin the the world of rapture by bringing out a game that doesnt live up to expectations.
i think they should revive the systemshock universe instead. have same core game mechanics but with a different setting and story it would be refreshing.
