As long as I can turn the Kinect functions off within every game that I play, I don't mind. I understand that it will need to be on all the time, but I assume that I will not be forced to use it in game, so I will turn it off on every single occasion as I have found the current device to be totally useless. Kinect doesn't recognise the fact that I am disabled and have to remain seated and so my concern is that with the device being so integral to the new X-box that I may have issues when it comes to setting it up, as with the first Kinect, where, whilst installing it I had to move around the room whilst standing, which was problematic to say the least. Also, the device was useless when it came to voice recognition, as firstly even though I was the only profile on my X-box and that it was therefore linked to my voice, it still followed the commands given by my son, even if the words were spoken in unrelated conversation, and also carried out actions as a consequence of dialogue within the game that I was playing. The new Kinect will need to be vastly improved, more adaptable, and have the ability to be switched off in game.
As for the headline - I only have one head, so does that mean that I won't be able to play multiplayer with the new Kinect?
