I don't see this as a problem really. Decent RPGs shouldn't need DLC to extend their life, and most FF games are a complete encapsulated experience with no place to squeeze in new content. Seriously though, have gamers all become so ADD that we demand DLC as standard now? DLC is a happy bonus to some games, but it's spoiled, bratty, petulant, etc to expect, nay demand it in every game. DLC is not always neccessary, I would have thought that our gaming industry journalists would realise that. |
