No thanks to either, these better be optional downloads? dont want them taking up space on my console when im never going to use them _________________ Gamercard Raptar Voice Last FM
Gamers on Xbox will be able to Twitter their accomplishments and give out status updates on Facebook while playing on the Xbox 360 from 17 November.
Microsoft confirmed that gamers on the console's Live service will be able to use the social networking websites as well as Last.fm from mid-November in EMEA. It will launch as a public beta on that day in order to iron out any problems that might arise before a complete launch.
Facebook will come with a "Friend Linker" that will allow gamers to invite Facebook friends to play on Xbox Live. Gamers will also be able to take screenshots to post on the website. For Twitter users, you can use your Xbox avatar when you tweet.
The service is yet to have a launch date in North America, but is expected to be within a few days of the EMEA launch. An update to the consoles NXE dashboard will be required before users can access the new service.
The Xbox will also see Sky TV's Skyplayer launch on the console. The new service won't require gamers to subscribe to the company'

I don't believe that for a second, surely you'll have to pay one way or another!
I'm not interested in either of these too, not even interested in Facebook on the web so why would I want it on my Xbox? I've spent years avoiding people why would I want them to be able to log onto a computer and find me again? It'd better be an optional download. I do want Last FM any Sky Player though, that'll be awesome, loads better films on sky than the "straight to video" tosh they try to flog on the marketplace.
Well I never watch "the telly", not seen any for over two years and I'll never go back to-it! I use facebook on the p.c. but I'll never use it on the eggbox. I know twits but I'm not one!
