Wow, great list, theres about 20 games on there I'm looking forward to, it's going to be an awesome year for the 360 in 2010, and I'm sure thats not all. _________________ Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and Steam user.

On the list I'm only looking forward to Mass Effect 2, Alien: Colonial Marines, Alien vs Predator (if CM came first I probably wouldn't bother with this), Mafia 2 and Crysis 2.
There's one game omission I'm surprised about which I'm sure is supposed to be with us in 2010, and that's the modern combat version of Medal of Honour. After the reality of what Modern Warfare is my hopes now lie with the Medal series to fulfill my love of this genre.
As someone who's never cared for third person games I'm surprised I'll actually be purchasing two this year. Mass Effect is just too special in my eyes to miss, and it's actually had me consider Mafia 2. As always I'll never understand why we can't have the option to choose the view that suits us as is done with Fallout and the Oblivion series, but I guess some developers are a little slow to take on genuinely good ideas believing they knew best.
It's barely ever mentioned in reviews and I don't expect things to change on this front, but I would love to know the framerates of games when they're 'reviewed'. It can dramatically affect my enjoyment of a game and in the days of the so-called 'next generation' or 'high definition' gaming it shocks me, especially with shooters and combat games that most are still stuck with pathetic '90s framerates just to entice a few more sales by showing off slightly better screenshots. |
