Just over an hour?! Knowing OXM I assumed that was a mistake / typo and went to have a look at another website which confirmed it really is that short. One hour? Why did they even bother making it?

for 400 points i enjoyed it and it made me jump unlike the rest of the game.

Weren't all the mansions built from the same template in Resi lore? And isn't it meant to be Spencer's mansion not Weskers in the flashbacks?

fisrt play through under a hour. what the hell was they doing for the whole year. Prob playing WaW zombies like the rest of us. I am very dissappointed with this. Quality good quantity 0.5 out of 10. DLC 2 in march better last longer. I really like to know what they been doing for almost a year to only release a hour of gameplay

You get more than an hour of gameplay. Lost in nightmares is different on each difficulty so you can play that four times to see what changes and you get new characters for mercenaries which you can play for as long as you like.
I don't think the person that wrote the review paid much attention to the game either as he calls the spencer estate Weskers mansion. In the DLC Wesker breaks into the mansion, kills all the guards and kills spencer. If you read the documents that are hidden around the mansion you also find out how Wesker discovered where Spencer was so he could come and kill him.
